LA Performance have probably fitted more Porsche gearboxes in the UK than anyone else. It all started back in 1999 when we built our green 1303. This runs a very rare magnesium cased early Porsche 915 gearbox.

We have fitted many Porsche 901/911/915 gearboxes to mostly bug based floorpans. We have also fitted Porsche hearboxes into type II's as well and our carbon car and circuit racer are Porsche 915 equipped. Our next Porsche 915 installation will be into an early type III Squareback. This will have a Subaru wrx engine implanted.
