Our range includes:


LAP slim line struts for those who prefer McPherson struts to torsion bars but require larger wheels and also more precise handling. 2" overall diameter, 7" rims will fit under the stock wing/fender. 2" lower than stock struts, fully height adjustable, ride quality adjustable, a choice of springs / rates, only available for 2 bolt spindles or 944 porsche spindles, with our special ball joints.


Solid mount coil-over shocks kit. We decided that there was too much flex in the spring plates and torsion bars for a good drag start off the line, so we are now using our coil-over shocks to control the ride height and dampening rate. To be able to use these we had to come up with a solid mounting kit which basically consists of a specially cast aluminium inner bush. Inside this sits an oil-lite bearing, then inside this sits the inner spring plate, machined down for a proper fit. The outer spring plate locater has another oil-lite bush over the outside, and then the heavy duty aluminium spring plate cover bolts on in the stock 4 holes. The oil-lite bearings are made to be removed and replaced once they have been used several times or when slop in the spring plates occurs. The kit includes 2 coil over shocks and all the parts for solid spring plates.


Type I torsion front end heavy duty shocks pro/race, stem top, gas adjustable shorter shocks. We can manufacture these to suit your ride height, give us your total opening front top of shock to bottom spindle mount. Coil-overs are for rear of swingaxle cars, ideal for drag racers or road cars, 10 different spring rates, gas adjustable front and rear including 2 rear springs.

Our suspension parts at L.A.P are second to none. Most of our parts are commissioned by us and used on our own vehicles before we market them to the public. We make lowering adjusters for splits and bays, both the Silverfish and the 55 blue and white splitty on our projects page feature L.A.P adjusters. We were the first UK company to produce type II, type III and t25 to Porsche wheel adaptors. We are also on hand in the workshop for all types of VW lowering from splits to new beetles.
